Unexpected Journey is a platformer game prototype that combines the concept of Optical Illusion together with environmental audio to create atmospheric spaces that might not be like what it seems.

The theme for this prototype is "Optical illusion". During my research on the topic, I took an interest in the use of graphic composition to create a sense of 3D space on a 2D image. It is technically the basics of perspective drawing but I still found it interesting to apply them into a digital game where you can move and interact with the levels, especially with the help of environmental audio to enhance the sense of said spaces.

This was one of the projects that unexpectedly went well and I had a lot of fun making all the assets and trying them out.
